Yep, we're out, too far from us really (was pushing that a bit at Bisley tbh)

Mercer must be an active member of the Gun Control Network, when it comes to shafting legal gun owners he is truly gifted.

It was opined that Mercer will not be happy till everything at the NSC is under the control of the NRA. And when told that you can't shoot at a weekend at Lord Roberts because it's been hired out for a wedding reception or roller disco does make one think if this whole thing is deeper than pettiness...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

He is obviously a self serving individual that probably has performance related remuneration directly related to generating income. He has as much interest in shooting and gun ownership as my arse has in fly fishing, but he no doubt has great interest in screwing money out of the NRA punters, shooting or otherwise, to help fill his own pockets through his slary package.
It is obvious that the NRA council is only interested in income generation as opposed to developing shooting nationally and mercer is their man to fill the NRA coffers for which he is no doubt well rewarded.
Obviously a marriage made in heaven.

I'll be there - hopefully picking up a nice antique I saw at Kempton a few weeks ago.
Thanks all for pointing out the change of venue! Would have been awkward if I'd gone to Bisley with a wad of cash!

This was the reply from the NRA on Facebook when challenged about the cancellation of the event.
NRA of the UK: The event was organised by the NSRA and Kempton and was supposed to take place solely on NRSA property at Bisley. The NRA never agreed to host any part of the event, nor has any control over what the NSRA does on NSRA property.

I was at Bisley and found a guy looking lost as he was looking for the show!

Will this have finally killed off the NSRA?

The results of their open questionnaire might kill them off, if they don't play it right.Sim G wrote:Will this have finally killed off the NSRA?

How much debt does the NSRA have? Is it saveable?
