Crap, I hope it wasn't an LBP... I can just see it now - how easily they'd paint them as some sort of 'work-around' and that they are especially dangerous (insert made-up reasons) etc etc
. I don't understand why if it's just a rifle they don't just call it a rifle. Even they should be familiar with that terminology.

Whatever he was using he should not have had access to a firearm so somebody is in trouble, Dad's keys?

When all the chuntering imbeciles have finished vying for their fifteen minutes in the local rags it will probably turn out to be the BB gun his neighbours mentioned he likes to shoot in his garden.

If true then why the hell couldn't these firearms 'experts' simply have said 'shotgun'?
Even my old Gran could have offered that up with some authority.
