What 6.5x52 Carcano? Dromia has a very nice looking one - http://www.pukkabundhooks.com/index.php ... 52Carcano/

or here's a Lee Enfield in 8x50R

Another vote for 7.5x55 Swiss, I find the balance on a k31 suits me better. I added a slip on but pad, it fits better then.
I was at Andys a few weeks ago and he was on about getting some more Schmidt Rubins.

Ok, think I'm coming over to the idea of 7.5x55mm Swiss.

I like the look of that Carcano - They're a tad rare, aren't they? I've only ever seen one... once. I hate having to think about what I want to buy before I do - you watch, I'll ask for authorities for a 7.5x55mm and a 8x56R, and I'll find a pristine condition Mauser for £100 :cool2:

As as been mentioned before technically you're only required to ask for a calibre not a cartridge. :-P

So why not ask for a 7.5mm -that gives the option of 7.5x54mm (MAS) and 7.5x55 and 7.5x53mm (schmidt Rubin) and 8mm lots of options!

That way you should be covered for most things that might come along! :good:
