M14 EBR Straight Pull - Bipod

It's always helpful when you know the name of the thing you're looking for! Yes I'm after a military style podlock or at least a discreet podlock.

There's small levers like this podlock, but still if there's anything better I'd certainly be interested.

LaRue do a nice dial one, but it only comes with their bipods, so I've ordered the KMW podlock above.

Quick question:~ I really like the harris bipod, however... the little rubber feet annoy me, they cause the rifle to jump around during recoil. Does anyone offer after market feet for the harris bipods? Even hard plastic would be an improvement.

The cheap Chinese ones are hard plastic :-) I watched a video comparing the atlas to the Harris and they stated that feet were available but required permanent modification of the bipod.

Sounds about right, but I don't want to order a Chinese knockoff to find out they're softer than the original! I don't mind modifying it, I'll see if I can find the video, .

Sporting services stock them in the UK

They do extensions different feet and quick releases.

Pretty modular.

Pricey but worth it.
