Obviously nothing can be done about terrorism - Europe's borders are too porous and we've imported too many of their sympathizers to do anything about that. But what we can do is assuage criticism from EU citizens by sacrificing a relatively few innocents and giving the illusion of safety.

Once all these pointless measures are in place I'm curious as to how they will manage to explain away the next terrorist atrocity. It will surely become increasingly difficult to blame a small section of honest law-abiding citizens.

As Jean-Claude Juncker puts it so aptly "When it gets serious you have to lie."

The man's integrity is beyond reproach, surely?

"We decide on something, leave it lying around and wait and see what happens. If no one kicks up a fuss, because most people don't understand what has been decided, we continue step by step until there is no turning back."

And if the vote doesn't go his way ...

"If it's a Yes, we will say 'on we go', and if it's a No we will say 'we continue.”

And he absolutely denies being an alcoholic. He walks funny because of a car accident - and not because of his frequently boozy lunches.
THis is a lot more then being seen to do something this about disarming the whole of Europe on the excause of terrorism! They don't want eu citzens uprising against them or the impending isis invasion
(Europe has a lot history of revolutions ) the European Union is turning into a dictatorship

Since these mag bans only apply to self
Loading centre fire rifles and pistols, we should be unaffected!?
No doubt the acpo will go on offensive

As for europe, hopefully the high gun ownership members states will choose to competly ignore the directive

Some of the videos I've seen regarding these new EU rules show the MEP's pushing this agenda to be very "wobbly" as if they know its wrong what they are doing and they know why its being done but have been told to get a certain result. You can see it and sense it with how they behave and I'm sure Vicky Ford has visibly aged over the last few weeks probably because of the same :bad:

I'm not so sure it will be that simple - I believe that high capacity magazines, regardless of them being used in bolt action rifles, will probably require showing your FAC upon purchase. This would be a real pain as you couldn't buy them directly from an online store - you'd have to either go to a well-stocked shop or faff around having them shipped to an RFD to hand over.

Not sure how this will be seen for lever release actions either - they may decide that it's easier to review whether these are legal (in this country) because of the bother. Never underestimate the GCN or ACPO's willingness to jump on a bandwagon once it's rolling.

They won't ban high capacity mags in the UK IMO.

These are normal capacity mags as that's what's the AR-15 was designed to use
As for lever release these are not self loading guns ! But never underistmate the sheep, plod, government etc and if they do ban lever release and put mag restrictions it won't be the end of it
AR-15s who be their next target

OK I don't believe there will be any ban on any mags in the UK.

Whatever new law the EU decides on , will be enacted into UK law .
