I have no problem with him hunting dangerous and large game in Africa or anywhere else for that matter. It's him going on about public perception of the shooting fraternity while at the same time posting pictures and making videos of his hunts. How the hell does he think a lot of the public are going to perceive that.

I hope after this he fades into obscurity.

Its a possibility, he lost his US gigs after spouting the same crap and maybe losing some more gigs might be a form of cosmic justice. For the record I have no problem with it. Its just his holier than thou attitude I despise.

He's the perfect tool for the Anti crowd over here though. A self-proclaimed expert who will throw shooting under the bus as long as his niche is protected. He'll push for a ban on everything except hunting and clays because one can be deemed necessary and the other suits the gentry.
He needs to sit in a room with a few ex-members of this forum and they can argue why their discipline is the only one worth pursuing, while we slowly remove the oxygen.

And boy he is, is anyone here writing to publications he writes for to convince them its in their best interests to terminate that relationship with him?

Who publishes his stuff other than that catalogue of adverts Gun Mart?

Maybe Gun Mart could do an interview tween the Yardley and the Shooters Rights Association on his views.

I'd be just as interested to hear the SRA's views as Yardleys.

Sadly gunmart is a catalogue of adverts (it would be sort of alright if there were interesting stuff and the articles well written). Does he write for any others. To be fair in a real life setting I feel the SRA would obliterate him.

The best people to let know about this is the Sportsmans Association, who just happen to have an article every month in Gun Mart. Maybe Mike Wells and Mike Yardley could have a dust up at Gun Mart HQ clapclap

Does anyone have a link where he has a go at practical/action shooting? I know of a couple of people including a BSSC rep that would be most interested O:-)
