No, I don't know what the Hell to make of that either. She's getting a lot of stick on her FB page, and rightly so. I always thought she was a Trojan Horse.
Did she try to fight the mag capacity ban ?

Here are some interesting points -
The Commission would have liked to go further in restricting magazine sizes and in banning the most-dangerous semi-automatics, but this was not supported by the co-legislators.
The European Parliament and the Council have decided that the directive will only be applicable 15 months after the date of entry of into force (20 days after publication in the Official Journal). Certain provisions, notably concerning the data filing system that Member States shall put in place, will only be applicable 30 months after publication in the Official Journal.
So does that mean we're unaffected by this directive? The timescales they're talking about "might" mean BREXIT gets in the way, plus... if I've read it correctly, the magazine ban is a future addition to the directive.
Does this sound right?

I hope so but to be honest this thing is so chaotic it wouldnt surprise me if this "dissapears" over the next few months and something else pops up instead

Junker&Co. will never stop-he soon will be replaced by liberal candidate-NOT GOOD

Looks like Czech Republic had enough-or has very good intel...and trying to amend own constitution by adding legal firearms owners to the same group as army and police in the name of homeland security...

Good luck to them!

What? Is this right? Have they just banned semi-autos?
A landmark deal banning most semi-automatic weapons in Europe has been reached - but calls to outlaw AK-47s has been thrown out.

Firearms united has a better summary than the fail. Seems that ban on converted autos is happening but the IMCOs version is going through with the 20 round mag cap before needing "authorisation"

So, to me, it looks like they've done what the Brit Gov did with pistols... moved things they don't like into S5 (Category A)
- Auto to semi conversions
"Short firearms" (Pistols??) with mag capacity over 20 rnds
Rifles with mag capacity more than 10
Anything with a folding or telescopic stock that takes the overal length below 60cm at its smallest
And surprisingly, any of the above converted to only fire blanks or flares
They talk about banning "dangerous semi auto rifles"... as i never intend to do anyone harm with one, can i have a "non-dangerous" semi auto rifle..??

Note the commission Moaning about 10 round limit being rejected. It sounds like it was rejected for long guns too.
