Yes that 40 grams can really make a difference.
A pork pie is heavier.

The dot wasn’t the heaviest part. The bloody mounting plate for it weighs more than the red dot.
Tried various different springs in it to compensate. The guy is a perfectionist and if he’s putting his name to it it has to be spot on.

Yup, plate and sight combined enough to cause problems.
You have to remember the .22 conversion for glocks was only ever really designed for those wishing to shoot more often by using cheaper 22 ammo. They don’t have a dedicated glock manufactured 22.
The new fixed barrel LBP will be much more accurate and enable me to use it in gallery comps out to 50 as well which is something I wasn’t expecting from the glock.

Why Glock in the first place, would it not make more sense to use a .22 pistol already in production to convert to a LBP.

Fancied something different from the rest of the LBPs available on the U.K. market.

Fair enough, i can see there would be a lot of work involved but i suppose i don't need to tell you that. The perspective i am looking at it from is here were you can buy Glocks they are not that popular, CZ would be the most popular.

Yeah a fair bit went into it and for a plinking gun it’s great, but I want it more of a race gun and need the reliability.
Some will hate, some will judge, some will follow the crowd.

Some people would be happy with that, as you say its a bit different.
