I did not want to write this but as Bradders would'nt, I will.

In the past few weeks the bloke has worked tirelessly to ensure that his part of the Imperial organization runs smoothly.

What many dont realize is that the squadding is done to ensure that a more experienced shooter is always on hand for safety reasons, Mark does the squadding. As well as trigger/safety testing, all sorts of issue fixing, ROing and general entertainment/ribbing.

So along with running a successful gun plumbing business this also goes on throughout the year as we also run the winter league and various HRA and oddball shoots in between.

I have had my fare share of both barrels off of the grumpy old git, but in turn he takes his fare share of ribbing and we all have a choice, give as good as we get or dont bother.

In all fairness I have probably driven him and a few others mad at times, particularly during comps when early on I did not get the desire to concentrate.

In the past few weeks this "Nasty B@stard" has riden a round trip to Bisley to pick up an upper and loan me a moderator, Supplied me a trigger by return of post as I broke mine, Re chambered/Bolted an AR (FOC) because I was daft enough to let FOD damage it and damaged the bolt with some less than ideal primers, buy me a bacon sarnie and a coffee, Modify a moddy for me (again FOC) so it fits the rifle and looks right, and a whole raft of other stuff that I know he does for his other customers as well.

When you ask about an issue, there is genuine concern to get it right.

Like most engineers contact can occasionally be at the wrong time if he is deep in swarf so if you pick up on a bit of impatience, do the decent thing and offer to phone back.

So yes, I agree with Strangely, he is a good bloke to deal/shoot with.

Are you actually Mark Bradley Maggot?

I can only add how impressed I was watching Mark not only testing triggers but also trying to fix every single one which was not meeting class requirements. It was more like a workshop than just trigger testing point.

No, and I am by no means his biggest customer either, however I am all for fair play and honesty and I am being honest.

I have never dealt with SGC, Lantac, Low Mill, I know Dave Wylde and I like the bloke but geographically it made sense to buy from Bradders and I and many others have not been disappointed.

You must be new to the sport. FBUK is probably the most tolerent, open and accepting shooting forums there is.

Rakirun: (Interesting name) Threads get locked because there's always someone who starts making personal insults, usually based on their ignorance and lack of knowledge of a subject or that they in fact just do not like a certain topic and their only way of comment is aforementioned silly personal insults.

You'll get people like that on every forum and in every pub and club. Sad yes, but it happens so don't let the fact that a thread was locked put you off. There's usually some reason or other..sometimes not obvious but hey... Their forum their rules etc etc

Now if we all got along and respected each others views on all things shooting and life in general things would be dandy but you can see even in this thread how some folks make stupid insults and belittle black guns for no reason other than it's not their thing. Very liberal of them - or sad and petty as the case may be.

Anyway, are we going to have a new thread for Bradley Arms????
