When the police put their case for full cost recovery on certs and rfd's they can use Merseyside figures as they will probably be the highest in the country.

Meanwhile 7 people have been shot in Liverpool so far this month !

Perhaps I should clarify....

I said originally said that there were 8 but I only counted 6 myself. But given that I spent a good proportion of the time in another room sorting guns, I accepted what other members told me in that they thought the number was 8. I have since confirmed that the number was actually 6 and that is the number of personal that signed in. Sorry for any confusion there.

I've asked but we're not in the super secret circle.

The Answer is NONE. They came in two vehicles. A car and one of those yellow vans.

They didn't inspect or check members vehicles. They informed me that they had come to carry out "compliance checks".......

No Traffic or Armed Response Officers.

Responsible clubs are aware of what is required to retain their HO approval and if there is any doubt, get in touch with your FEO. I'm sure they would rather dish out advice than front up at your premises heavy-handed with the intention of putting you out of business. Our club has had our visit and 2 x people turned up from the licensing department. They looked around, checked documents / procedures, then left happy.

Run your club properly and there will be no issues. Get rid of any members who will not comply and don't let them spoil it for the rest of the members. It really is that simple!

Now ... after 17 pages, can we put this thread to bed?
