Geez, get a life and grow a sense of humour! Obviously you are the only Nightforce owner left on the planet who is unaware of the love/hate saga sourounding them.

emmm......can't comment on the rest of your post as i lost interest and stopped reading - immediately after you exposed your b.i.t.c.h t.i.t.s to all.

I suppose i should refraim from goading the inflicted. What with that huge chip on your shoulder and liking s.h.i.t.e scopes. You don't drive a BMW too, do you?

Could it be you don't want to comment because you're wrong with your suggestions?!

I am quite well aware of a love hate thing with Nightforce.

What's funny is I have never ever had anyone slag off Nightforce who shoots one.

No, optically they are not the very best there is. But there is a lot more to a scope than glass!

*Settles down on a sandbag, swings the lantern and begins a war story...*

A year or two back we were out in Mesopotamia. 'Twas the end of a briefing session in HQ Southern District at Basra Palace whereat a squeaky brand new second lieutenant had just finished giving a blue book quality briefing to his bold and audacious troops before taking them out on a night patrol. His first, their umpteenth of the month and zillionth of the tour. He commanded the lights to be dimmed, flicked down the NVGs * duct taped to the front of his battle bowler and then, with an inspiring command of "Follow me men !" walked smack bang into a plate glass door.

The platoon sergeant took over for the night as pippy was led away by the medics to try and have his eyeballs recovered from the NVGs...

*Night Vision Goggles. Actually affixed on a small bracket, but in keeping with the spirit of the story we'll claim they were held in place by plenty of Black Nasty

Not really, I just find it very easy to goad Nighfoce owners. They're like BMW owners - feel the need to continually defend their purchase yet also apologetic for doing so ;)

Generally, if you slag off the choices someone has made in life without offering evidence or reason, it gets people irate. I suspect if you try it with most things, it'll have the same effect.

My son owns a BMW however it is a matt black E36 Coupe and he shoots with a KAPS so is he exempt from this? I do take the p*** out of him but that is mostly regarding his taste in shoe laces...

tacb: PORSCHE...they're just souped up Volkswagens...

A good 5 series (530D)..155mph, 44MPG brilliant handling, leather seats and room in the back for motorsport..you cannot do THAT in any Porsche can you?

On the scopes, someone on here used to recomment Nikon...never used them, I use Leupold...does the job for me and targets.
