The Sinclair International tactical bipod is also very good, certainly good enough to take a gold in the Europeans F Open class at 800 a couple of years ago for one of our forum members.

EDIT - I forgot to add the SincInt bipod has the widest foot print in its class.

Seems a shame to have a bipod without a rifle!

I had a Sinclair 3rd Generation F-Class Bipod, very nice but still hopped http://www.sinclairintl.com/shooting-re ... 44699.aspx

I now the the Sinclair Tactical Bipod on my 308 Steyr and it's very steady, in the "low+wide" position it gives a 50cm wide base at a height of 20cm http://www.sinclairintl.com/shooting-re ... 35272.aspx

At the risk of sounding like a broken record on every .308/7.62 straight pull thread, does anybody know what they are like on extraction?

btw, I think that Garands are coming soon as well (according to a certain companies facecrack page (same people who are bringing the M14s in?)). For people like me who have never fired full bore with a gas system, I don't mind the 'neutered' straight pulls.

I don't know yet, but I'll find out within the week hopefully. I have some GGG's that are dying to be fired out of it...

Just as a point of interest, these are pure "new" S1 rifles, the unassembled component parts are fresh out of the factory.
