Loading tools and components.

12 Bore Lee Loader.

Boolits from a Lyman slug mould.

Cut back paper 12 bore cases.

Any shotgun primer.

Because that is what I had to hand.

Fill the case up to the base of the slug with Swiss No5 BP.

When I had the powder depth set I used a cut down case as a powder measure.

Little bit of compression say 1/10".

Beeswax over powder disc.

Seat slug.

Add dollop of udder cream or BP lube of your choice just before loading to the top of the boolit.

Load, cock, shoot and smile.

Should hold the black at 50 yrds.

Was going to work up a slightly more sophisticated load with brass cases but haven't found the time yet.

Guy and Leonard West did a good article in the HBSA Journal a few years ago just haven't been able to lay my hands on it yet.

My Tabatiere is the one they used for the article.
