The Swede is not going to fit in the magazine however the .260 would. The problem is shooting factory ammunition, the x47 is readily available, the .260 is not

Sadly the P13 is not mine. Chap I know let me dribble all over it the other day. It is about as mint as mint can be. All matching. The only problem is ammo! He is an RFD but it's in his private collection. I have an open invitation to go round and go through his cabinets so I'll try to take piccies next time.

I have seen the P13 trials rifles in storage in the pattern room collection in Leeds but i had no idea that any were in private hands.

It's a strong action and has been used for many other calibres. We've just popped a few 7.62x54R drill rounds in our .303 rifle and it feeds then reliably almost fully into the chamber. This of course has given us ideas, not least of which is rebarrelling one of our 7.62x51 P14s to fire 7.62x54R. Can anyone see any snags with that?

Taking a step further, as the P14 has been used for quite a few magnum hunting rounds in its time, might it even be capable of coping with .338 Lapua ?
You are simply not allowed to put that pinko stinko commie rubbish in one of our lovely 303 rifles !

Bad form , jolly bad form !
