i do intend to do csr, but would not class myself as good enough to do it seriously. i really only shoot for fun and to have some q time with my eldest boy. but looking at the current prices of the aug i may aswell get a lantac, as i genuinely thought they were considerably cheaper.

they have gone up considerably in the last year or so!

They are crazy money right now, considering that they were £799 when I got mine and that was only 2 years ago.

They can be picked for £999 (which is what I paid for mine) + all the other bits, scope, moderator and spare magazines.

I suspect at the time, that this was old stock that was acquired at the lower prices. A look around the web shows the cheapest Steyr AUG at £1100, 2nd hand.

They were £1200 when they first came out, when i bought mine :roll: , then they were dropped to £799 :bad: (for me anyway :lol: ), then they've gone back up to £1500+ :shakeshout: Not that i'm thinking of selling mine though. Well, not at least until i've seen one of the M.A.R.S. VZ58's in action tongueout
