The home builder can import all the bits and build it himself and without proof (as long as he has authority to possess in the first place). If anything went wrong on a range and it was found the rifle wasn't proofed then there would be interesting times for all trying to get compensation (for whatever damage or injury occurred -and Heaven forbid if it was an MoD range).

As John says, the RFD should have given it over if it wasn't proofed.

Best not to get too in depth at this stage, in case the worms leave the can.

Well done on the build though, looks like you have a nice rifle and the satisfaction of assembling it yourself.

That is not exactly how it happened, never mind though, end result was that the thread was removed at the request of the OP due to some less than gentlemanly behaviour on another forum.

That sort of behaviour is not tolerated on FB. I do not need to explain what I mean by that because I am confident that the people behaving in this way knows what I mean. Don't bring it here.

Also the latest user who signed up with a totally idiotic user name just to have a dig at another user, obviously you are not being let in and I suggest you find yourself another hobby to spend your time on when you are drunk. I can only assume you were drunk because no normal sober person behaves that way.

I am not responding to any questions regarding this. Just know FB is not tolerating this behaviour.
