Dromia; We are all different. In the pistol shooting days, I too used a progressive press, permanently set up for 357 mag. Nowadays, after shooting, all cases are de-capped in a small Lee single stage press with a universal de-capping die in it. They then go into the ultra-sonic cleaniner and into the airing cupboard to dry. After re-capping, they go into stock. I keep all my cases cleaned, capped and sorted by headstamp. Capping / decapping is therefore not part of the process when I decide to make some ammo. My single stage RCBS press is used for case forming and bullet swaging and sizing. All loading is carried out on a Lee turret of grest age. By milling out an attchment which bolted onto a Lee die holder, which lifted the die set, I even used to load 577-45 Martin- Henry rounds on it--neck sizing only.
