Ok I'll admit I got a bit overboard, but if Hunter vixen's interpretation is the right one and taken to its logical extreme then yes the law is a buggered up mess. One of the reasons having the house of commons full of chimps would be not a bad thing is that we can teach the chimps and right from wrong and they'll mainly fling poo in the commons and not outside of it.bigfathairybiker wrote:I hope I'm reading that all these posts are just being silly and not serious.
Otherwise there really is a lot of misunderstanding of written legal documents.

And considering some MP's are former lawyers it speaks volumes of why they stopped practicing.huntervixen wrote:Sixshot6 wrote:Ok I'll admit I got a bit overboard, but if Hunter vixen's interpretation is the right one and taken to its logical extreme then yes the law is a buggered up mess. How Very true...... clapclap ....... While my Sec5b shotgun post is a little "tongue in cheek", it does raise the issue of our ridiculous contradictory and darn right flawed Firearms laws, just have a read through the Firearms Act......(It took me 10 mins to find the 12 bore issue) If it was a legal contract that you had paid a solicitor to draft, you you would sue them for incompetence!

He got prosecuted not because his guns were front venting but because he had the cup device necessary to discharge CS and he had CS canisters for discharge.
