Joking aside, how can they not find an email??
Aye - they lost the previous e-mailed form 202 as well - which is why I'd phoned this time to attempt to avert the delay & "We never got it..." - & HAD the receipt confirmed verbally on more than one occasion since sending it in on Sept 16th

Will see what happens from now - as just off the phone to the Complaints Dept. - they called me to confirm that they'll be sending a letter out with the complaint number on & will chase up to see what is going on & why...

I think Durham got reviewed by Our head man who is pretty switched on.

Our lot are streamlining things as well, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy our 202 was to fill in now, much less pointless info required.

Durham deliver again! Two 1-4-1 variations done 'while-U-wait' yesterday. (Sound moderator off then back on and action change for a rifle) :good:

Are you sure you went to the right place?, you didn't go to Northumbria by mistake did you?

Maybe with them moving to Peterlee and being right on the border with Northumbria the good service is starting to rub off? The FEO (or at least support staff members) i used to deal with may have gone as the last 3 interactions i've had with them have all been new people

We both have applications for variations in with Lincolnshire at the moment so it will be interesting to see how long they take, it has been around 3-4 weeks so far.

Avon and Somerset are going backwards, my last few variations took on average 10 days to be done but all received with errors on, my last one has just taken 40 days but dropped on the mat yesterday with no errors.

I called them after 3 weeks to check they had received it and was told yes but due to staffing issues this year there is now a considerable backlog and no timescale could be given.
