I tried the RGP many years ago and could not get on with them however I have been wearing daily contacts for a good 15 years now. I am down to 2 trial sets now so need to make a decision soon, I have gone back to my 'normal' -6 and -8 to see what I think of them.

Have you tried monovision with standard lenses?

-0.25D in your dominant eye and -1.25D in the other.

It works well for many people.
