Re: Red dot sights?
To be fair, I have the HK416 in .22lr. I wouldn't dream of putting a proper optic on it. It would be worth more than the rifle.

That's my train of thought too but at the same time I don't want to put s#ite on it either. Oh the dilemmaTattooedGun wrote:To be fair, I have the HK416 in .22lr. I wouldn't dream of putting a proper optic on it. It would be worth more than the rifle.

Re: Red dot sights?
I had a game of airsoft at the weekend and slapped a vortex sparcII on the top of the rifle, why not given the warranty!
Surprisingly accurate, modern airsoft guns, easily zeroable to centre of mass at 70M.

Another option is the shield sis
I now have two of them and think they are excellent.
Brookers

Re: Red dot sights?
I have one of these:
http://www.ultradotusa.com/ultradotdist2010_006.htm
Its been on a 44mag Marlin with manly loads, a 7.62 x 39 AIA, a 45acp LBR and on my Remy 1187 for slug shooting.
Other red dots have died on all these guns! This one is still going strong and is about 8 years old now.
Not sure how you would get hold of one here though!
