Great looking rifle, what sort of 'scope and bipod are you going to use?

The Accutrigger is a nice system, worst that happens is you slam the bolt down quickly and it locks the trigger, just raise the bolt handle and take more care next time.

Use of the accutrigger is a fine art, worth it.

Bipod will be one from Dolphin, scope is TBC in the long run. Stuart showed me his March and also a Sightron. Both good, March is too much money sadly. For now, it will be my 6.5-20 Leupold, but I think it's a bit light on magnification long term. I would also like a better reticle for the job than the varmint hunter in that one - it was not bought for this job.

Of course, I could be harsh on the other half and get my Nightforce back, but that might be nasty...

6.5-20 is a fine start for 1000 yards, I was out with a 16X yesterday and managed to hit the target a few times

yep, should be OK for a while - we tried it with the .223 and apart from a lack of elevation it was perfectly usable, on a TR target anyway. 20MOA base on the new one so that should solve that particular issue.

Now just need to find a load for it, 155s and 185s to test...

I like 155 Scenar's and they work well with 1:12. What length barrel is it?

It's a 30-inch 1:12 twist Broughton 5C. I should have spent time discussing the chamber with Stuart, but there were other things to talk about...

Quick one - 190gr Nosler Custom competition - should this stabilise?

Never tried it and it depends on length but I would exxpect it to be getting to the limit twist wise.
