Warning - the lack of markers at Bisley causing concern!

When I booked no guarantees could be made

Tried a few times to contact Range Office with no luck -

I will confirm tomorrow morning if a marker is actually available for the booking and post the status here!

Those that plan to join please just check !

Thanks to EagerNoSkills and his pal, also Steve, had a good time shooting with the NRA SC this morning on Century at 500 yds, then a pleasant early afternoon dose of recoil therapy on Stickledown. I was struggling with the wind and shortish barrel on the Steyr, but discovered the RWS ammo from the Range Office is a vast improvement on milsurp, as suggested.

Twerps of the afternoon award to the two mateys who booked target 50 to shoot at 1000 yards, but decided it would be better to start at 900 and so plonk themselves squarely in the way for those of us intending to shoot 1000 yds on target 48. Nil points.

I have a pressing need for a better scope I feel, and have much learning to do as regards wind. All quite interesting.

No, many wind curses when sailing, but no course as such. I didn't even know such things existed.

One should never whistle whilst sailing, does the same apply to shooting I wonder?

Like one should never whistle at the northern lights, the evil spirits will come and get you if you do.

Somehow I do not think it applies to the wind and shooting

Bill Richards is the man who runs the best of them and Heather is the woman to ask about going on one.
