I'm looking to add to my collection and have a vacant 7.62 slot just ready for something like this ..........
I chose the LMT MWS because it's a tried and tested firearm, plus that I'm only interested in military-issue platforms. Also, I've yet to read a single negative review of it. It's held in very high regard.

did you put a side charger on it? no problems with extractions if you shoot fast?

I don't have it yet but I won't be mutilating it any further. Why do need to 'shoot fast'? And how are you defining 'fast'?

for fun :)
i was told that you might get extraction issues because if you shoot fast (fast you can work the charger / bolt ) the heat in the chember will rise and thus might stiff extraction ???

I have been in a couple of comps with a COF with 10 rounds in 30 secs, and I believe the CSR comps have rapidfire elements to them?

more likely to be an issue with the ammo, for example MEN is notorious for causing sticky extraction in some bolt rifles and this is worse in straight pulls due to lack of camming leverage.

I have used the LMT to shoot CSR at Bisley and PR at Diggle. Fast moving, high round count CoF's, and I can assure you there are no extraction issues with these rifles even after 30 or 40 fast fired rds, you just need a pair of big ones to lug the dam thing on the run downs.

Threadlock. Either the blue or the red. Probably the red.

What ammo are you using with it?
