Just had a Numrich parts order cancelled too (a threaded, non pressure-bearing nut).... they had it in stock, easy cart system so I ordered.

I've emailed no less than 40 (that's forty) UK-based potential suppliers of the part and not ONE of them has yet replied or bothered their arse. Quite how we shooters continue with our hobby in this country is beyond me.

This whole thing is a pain in the bum, does anyone know if they will sell to dealers and go that route.

Its sounds as if you are after similar parts to myself SevenSixTwo, non pressure bearing magazine release / plunger and the escutcheon nut to hold it in place.

I just had a Brownells order for Satern powder funnel refused by Barclays Bank.
Barclays left me listening to music waiting to talk to their fraud dept.

After listening to crappy music for five minutes,I hung-up.
I will just have to keep going with the old Lee plastic job.

I just ordered a couple of Benelli parts from Brownells and I wish they had have cancelled the order, because I then found them in the UK for almost the same price!

Seems they are on their way with UPS and no dramas so far...

JSC, there won't be any problems with UPS or Fedex for that matter. It's only the Post Office over here that's refusing to carry firearms parts.

Shame that gun-parts and MWG don't fedex stuff then

It''s not always trouble free using the couriers. I had a large order of Berger bullets held up in a courier's bonded warehouse last year because someone didn't understand the different commodity codes.

The Post Office have always been a pain in the arse. My local PO once refused to accept to send an old toner cartridge for recycling because the person behind the counter got confused about the restrictions on air freighting them after the terrorist incident. :cool2:

Okay, but was that on your side of the pond or this side? I ask because most of the problems I read or hear about seem to stem from the UK side.

Thing is and lets be honest here, the US gun parts market is huge over here and losing customers in the UK which is a relatively small market isn't going to bother or hurt the US sellers. The UK market being the size it is I guess a lot of the sellers here just don't see it as worth the time and headaches involved.

You are totally right Blu, which is why its such a PITA that the UK government restrict the import of non pressure bearing parts.
