Countries such as Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland already announced that they will simply not comply – and Finland and the Baltic States might as well follow suit. And Switzerland is willing to hold a referendum vote to leave the Schengen Area in order to remain free of all restrictions on law-abiding firearms and their owners.

Funnily enough the CR is one of the safest country in Europe and probably one of the least likely to experience the kind of terrorism we are witnessing in "western Europe" ...

I wonder if these ivory tower Eurocrats realise how many firearm owners there are in the EU - and how unwise it is to alienate such a large number of law abiding citizens by implying that they are untrustworthy. They too could be facing a Brexit themselves too!

It seems she is caught between a rock and a hard place.

The rest of the European Parliament don't seem to be on the same page.

Thank god we voted out. May not save us in this instance, but hopefully in the future.

Every one seems to be missing the point, that it was not the EU that imposed some of the strictest gun control in the EU on the UK it was British governments. And the present governments prime minister Theresa May has pushed for the EU to bring in similar strict controls in the EU as the are in the UK.

+1 Ordnance, I feel a lot of UK shooters are very deluded or have a very very short memory.
The rest of Europe still shoot hand-guns, the UK & its own grown polititians made sure we don't ... Brexit or no Brexit, will "harmonise" :bad:
