My name is Adam and I'm an evengelical atheist. Sorry, all I see christmas to be is a gluttunous shopping fest so please forgive me if I'm less than enthusiastic about it.
Now Hogmanay, thats a far more interesting story.

It is rather busy at the moment. Can we leave the decision for another three weeks or so - all of the hassle will be out of the way and we can have a good debate and final decision on decorations then.

Alpha1, David no offence was intended, I don't for one minute think you are a communist. I was only messing around. I apologise if I caused offence.
Enjoy Mass.

dromia, so while your not happy with one gluttonous shopping fest, your perfectly happy to take part in another type of gluttonous type of event. I wonder how much is spent on booze in the couple of days leading up to Hogmanay. Each to their own mate.
Have fun.

No doubt far less than is spent at xmas. The shops are always quieter tween xmas and the Hogmany.
Remember alcohol is a poison and a poor friend.
