Only thing is the 20 round mag, if it was me it would have to be replaced with something shorter and F/TR is single shot only.
Sounds ok, I'll keep my eye on this. The mag could be changed then!

I've learnt a lot in a day since joined!! sign92
Peter Sarony modifies the ACIS stock to accept adapted m14 magazines. You will not be able to use any other magazines, unless they have the Armalon adaptation. Not sure how much he is selling these for now.

When I had the rifle built it had the above mag conversion, a fluted barrel with a custom muzzle break, Nightforce ring bases, a polished trigger, blue-printed action, and Armalon's own PR bolt handle.

Thanks Ceri for bringing some extra light on this rifle! The age of it doesn't bother me at all but the M14 mags could be a issue? Those mags look huge!!

It was built for Practical Rifle, hence the high mag capacity. I'm not sure Peter has ever adapted a magazine for his system that holds less than 20 rounds. I'm would think Armalon could manufacture a loading plate for the magwell, but I'm not sure what the cost would be.

Back in 2000,I think Armalon charged around £40 to modify a m14 mag to fit. Not sure what the price is today.

Problem solved then! Is this rifle a private sale or is it at a dealer? What sort of wear should I look out for on a second hand rifle, marks score's etc which would be a bad one?

It's a private sale. I sold it to the guy who currently has it. He is the second owner. I'm told he has only shot it once as he doesn't shot beyond 50'yards on targets anymore. As long as he's kept it oiled it should be in very good condition. Two years ago, when i sold it, it had no visible throat wear or other issues.

Thanks Ceri I didn't know that! I'll find out where he is in the country when I get the FAC through the door as I'm down south in Reading. I know you said that it had a fluted barrel but I can't remember what length it was..

If this was one of Ceri's rifles then it will be an accurate rifle (Assuming he did not leave the magazine at home like one rainy day when we were doing our RCO training  )

2500 ish rounds is not excessive as long as they have not been stoked up to the raggedy edge and as long as it has a 26" or more barrel it will be a 1000 yard rifle, 30" would be nicer but I shoot 1000 with a rifle with may thousands of rounds through it's 24" barrel.

Can't be a good feeling leaving the mag at home!! sign01

Would like it to have a 26" barrel but not the end of the world though! If it's not to far to go I'll like to have a butchers when my paper work comes but from your saying it really can't be missed as a whole package!

Sorry I don't know yer name?
