Mike, what reactions/comments if any was there made on your paint job? I've decided to have a go as well, going to try something out as a test run on my Sig522 before I attempt in on my AR's. Been doing a lot of research on it and I reckon I can handle it. We'll see fingerscrossed

Blu.
It went down a treat! She has 3 rifle stocks to do and a couple of shotguns. Also discussed with our FEO the options around RFD status as the feedback from the ones she has done has been excellent.

I cannot decide whether to do my 522 or not, I am sure it will end up getting g done.

Mike

Outstanding paint job.
The fishnet pattern is fairly popular over here.

For paint? Plain old over teh counter krylon works best.
Cheap easy to appy easy to touch up and easy to remove.

I tiger striped my FN years ago and it still looks good, even with a bit of bush wear because it has a little been there done that.

Looks like you are having some fun. You have more guts than me. I've been toying with getting mine cerakoted but I am useless at this sort of thing so would probably have to pay someone to do it.

Burner, I'm going to use the old Krylon as well though I'm going to put a primer on it first and do the whole rifle including the metal parts. fingerscrossed
