the rifle and the target , shot at WMS

I had the rifle built by riflecraft specifically to shoot the mile when the army banned 338's on the ranges

well that didn't work! how do you get photos on here.................

How about McMillan Tactical in the US? They generally make a good rifle.

I would not go with AI, as I am given to understand that their action is too short to use all natures of .338LM. You have to keep cartridge OAL to about 91 mm with AI, whereas the CIP spec is up to 93.5 mm.

We're more and more coming to the conclusion that we may not need a .338, there seems to be a lot to be said for 6.5x55Swe and 7mm at 1000 mards

Sorry to keep banging on (no pun intended) but all you need is a good .308 with a 30" barrel :cool2:

Even a muppet like me can hit the target at times :good:
