And now we will get the worst of both worlds - which is why we need to protest.

European Ban, SGC Lever Release & CCA MARS.... any updates?

#42 Post by HH1 »

I just wondered if there was any news updates regarding the proposed European Bans that we were all worried about? Seems to have gone rather quite. Also anything new regarding the police having another look at the SGC Lever-release rifles or the CCA MARS rifles?

There was nothing mentioned in the last minutes of the FELWG. There is a meetings minutes before the latest ones which hasn't been seen but given that that meeting was held almost a year ago I think something would've come of it by now if they were going to do anything. Seems like it was Chinese whispers 8-)

There is a Facebook thread on the Vicky Ford page regarding this issue:

This is the video from the facebook link above. I'm still completely unclear what the end result of this review will look like.

All the posts congratulating Ford on her good work on the FB page make me sick, she's nothing but a 'stooge'.

According to her, she tried to get the whole thing dropped but there was a pretty unanimous vote against that. So she is trying to get the best deal - supposedly. Who knows what happens in these meetings behind closed doors. Perhaps she is doing the best she can under the circumstances - perhaps she is out-voted. I don't know.

Folks,it is getting VERY serious-European Commission wants to ban ALL semi-auto.After VERY stiff resistance and week long debate behind closed door there is no more talk about terrorist but cut the liberty in the name of..."Joe the Citizen" because this is what he wants according to this commissioners.Total B*****S and putting the blame on gun lobby in his own words. The mask felt down-all what you see now is pure "gun grab" at all costs.Do not let your guard down yet shooters-be prepare to fight for your rights for long now,or maybe all your life,if you dare... FU finally is collecting donations and mounting legal action witch can end as NRA Europe-if we are lucky...

Yeah. Sources and citations please, links and evidence, it's nothing without it.

I appreciate the rallying call but without hard facts evidence as sources it'll be seen as crying wolf.
