Well, for some people nine minutes to empty a mag is rapid and indiscriminate fire.

So what you are complaining about has been moved to a new forum, yet you are still bitching!

This is a fantastic example of small minded people splitting a sport / team / club into silly little factions.

Why not from the top down drop this, either work to support the sport which already has enough critics or leave / shutdown the forum?

Strange how this appears to have upset people ,at the end of the day a rifle is a rifle etc etc .
I must admit i didnt really have much time for AR type rifles until i tried a few now i can see the point and enjoy shooting them .
When i bought my old pump action shotgun (after trying a friends ) some of my mates looked down their nose at it (and me) but a few tried it then they changed their minds a couple even bought them .
I just think give them all a go so you might like some you wont but give it ago before you decide .
As for forums i know a few of the members here are on at least one other forum im on, so does it matter really if nother forum comes up ?
One day we wont be allowed to own guns ,the more people shooting and owning guns the harder banning them will be .
Lets just stick together and support fellow shooters and defend our rights to shoot and own guns .......

I shouldn't read too much into it.
Some people train for and stick to a career for most of their working lives.
Others get established in a career. get bored and want to learn new stuff, repeat as necessary - I'm in this camp - grass always seems greener elsewhere type.
IT is one of those jobs that's relatively easy to get into in some shape or form if you have a bit up top and have a mind to change careers.
There's plenty of books on the subject, online assistance, and it's something you can rig up at home to practice.
I was a FAC holder long before I ended up working in IT - starting as a copyright chaser for an IT company and then sort of drifting into software testing and then on to network admin and setting up test packs. I ended up becoming a sculptor. Figure that one out. :)

Im not bitching about any thing I am replying to a comment posted by some one else who seems to think I give a toss about a new forum covering what ever all the fuss is about.
