Perhaps there is a risk that in painting a SGC Lever-release a silly colour or "vandalising" it, that the police could consider you as an "unsuitable person" to be holding a FAC?

So are you saying that having a brightly painted firearm is an acceptable justification for revoking an FAC?

Ban on military grade assault rifles dropped by MPs
A planned ban on military grade assault rifles has been dropped amid pressure from some Conservative and DUP MPs

Military grade? Assault rifles? What utterly biased, deliberately misleading nonsense.

This is what the BBC has become. They're no better than the tabloids/clickbait sites these days. I don't bother with BBC 'news' any more.

Well, my FEO has happily renewed my coterminous certificates twice with my Beretta Collection 95 on my shotgun certificate!

As far as I can remember/can ascertain with the handgun ban there was a 'price list' made up for various guns/parts. If your gun/part didn't feature on the list you had to write (presumably to the Home Office) for a valuation? any????

I really hope they don't expect us to produce receipts for the guns and accessories as i never keep anything like that (evidence for the missus to find :run: ), and the idea of getting a reciept from CCA is at best extraordinarily optimistic!

I too will be eager to know what EXACTLY would need to be handed in if it comes to that. Surely it should only be the licensable parts only i.e. barrel, bolt, receiver/body, sound moderator. I would not expect it to cover furniture, stocks, grips, triggers, magazines etc.
