Re: MARS / Lever Relaease
On a series note if you spray them a sensible colour or design can you not put money on the value as a 'custom' finish ?

Can you share the details (of the scheme, not what you've got)?Andy632 wrote:Just got an email from plod notifying me about the compensation scheme and to surrender any I had (if I had any)!
I think this is going to be a bit if of a piecemeal process, with some areas more proactive than others
They must know I have one, it's clearly recorded as Lever Release on my FAC

Re: MARS / Lever Relaease
While I'm very sorry for those of you that are losing them, I can't wait for the Plod to proudly show off the "very dangerous" pink guns..

Re: MARS / Lever Relaease
I would've probably put mine up eventually too, just through limited funds and having to compromise for things I now want more (e.g the Rhino LBR). But I hate the fact that I'll never be able to acquire one ever again or that no one else in the sport will either - yet another thing we now can't have.mr smith wrote:While I do feel sorry for those having these taken from them but that's pretty much how I feel.I was about to put my LR up for sale when this kicked off.Airbrush wrote:About time, I could do with the £.DanTheMan wrote:According to the Facebook group, LR amnesty begins on 10th December and every owner should receive an email or letter, with procedures etc, by the 14th.

I hope there's no one with a Verney Carron Speedline then 'cos they'll be seriously out of pocket.Andy632 wrote:

Re: MARS / Lever Relaease
I've seen claims the legislation is supposed to come in on 10th December and everyone who has one is supposed to be informed by 14th. So that gives us until February to enjoy them/shoot the barrels out!
