Had to join at least one after school club in 2nd year; looked down the list and picked the one that involved the least sweat or mental agility (no chance of Chess club or debating for me!).

First time I shot on the schools .22 range, instant addiction.

Only problem was you had to wait for the 3rd year before being set free with the 7.62 rifles!

Interesting you say this, i have in the last 2-3 months spoken to 2 work colleagues in Plymouth who want to get back into shooting after learning of my hobby. Its good to see the appeal it has doesnt wane and that it draws older shooters back :)
