Just in case other hotels haven't been so forthcoming, all of my bookings at the Premier Inn for matches have been refunded even though they were 'non-flexible' bookings. They sent me an email offering either a refund or re-booking. It was simple enough to do online and the refund appeared 4 days afterwards. Other hotels might require a phonecall/email.
