I dont understand how the follower/feed ramp is ending up so high in the action?
Some sort of fault with the Glock mags?

Mags don't touch it, it's sank into the lower on a vertical pillar with a retaining screw which (I assume) is used to lock it at the correct height.

Have a look at your mag lips i have attached a pdf of what Idid to mine to stop feeding issues. when testing I noticed jams like yours so I adjusted the feed lips so the round pops up earlier allowing the rim to get behind the extractor and go into battery.

I think you are all missing the point, there is a fault with the rifle,any work on the mag lips is to get around this fault , it doesn't alter the fact that there is a fault in the first place.

Did you get the rifle from roding, I had a long chat with phil about what I did to my bolt. he siad SGC were moding the bolts but rem primers are seated deep so bolt can catch on the primer pocket. I then explaind my mag mod, I can only describe the fault as a timing issue between the bolt movement and mag releasing the round.

Not missing the point that it had issues. But it took me 30 min after first range visit to work out problem and 20min to fix. I know of lots of products that have had faults / issues that needed sorting (sat map gps had several updates and faults with sd cards) And as this a new kind of rifle action teathing problems can be expected.
But as i have posted before Glock are having problems with new gen 4 mags with very stiff springs and the plastic nubs by the front of the feed lips. My diy fixes sorted out the issues for me so if they help others, or even SGC if they read my post future buyers will get a produt that does work or buy knowing what is needed to make them work.

Got it through my local RFD direct from SGC, I'm waiting on two more mag's to arrive then I'll try trimming one, as you say there is a fault with the rifle but if this little tweak works then thats ok by me. Don't want to send it back and let it sit on his desk for a month. I spoke to Bob this morning explaining it still does not feed after his bolt mod, he then said they all get tested before they leave there with 115gn fmj's and told me to try them. I think they should work with whatever you put in them regardless, it's after all an expensive gun that should work,will try the mag mod and also polish the leading edge of the chamber as mine seems to be scraping small amounts of case off!!

I agree about them working with any ammo I am using 124 grn fmj S&B and 130 grn jacketed fiocchi with out problems. I think the ammo SGC use and recomend is 115 grn S&B. Could you post a picture of your offical modded bolt so I could compare it with mine.

These are of my sgc modded bolt and a round after a jam, should be able to just see the mark from the chamber
