Grizzly- I assume there is a very limited market in the states for a straight pull AR, so how did you go about getting a straight pull upper and bolt sent over? Was that custom request from the manufacturer?

I didn't, I sourced and imported all the parts listed and built from the ground up.

A T handle is designed for a combat rifle in theatre - the user cocks it in the morning, and uncocks it in the evening .

Yes, you can quite happily use a scoped target rifle with a T handle, but you won't half make life awkward for yourself, particularly if you are shooting something like civilian service rifle where it would make you completely uncompetetive!

A rear charger causes you to totally lose your rifle mount, cheek weld and sight picture, whereas a side charger doesn't.

It's really very simple, it's called useless b@st@rd politicians who like to cash in on any tragedy and use the press to make themselves look good, the fact that in reality the various bans have had no effect whatsoever on the illegal use of firearms or reduced the number of "gun crimes" (now there's a huge surprise a 5yr old could have seen coming) isn't of the slightest interest to them as it doesn't win votes from the sheeple who are either too disinterested or stupid to realise it's all political b@ll@cks.
