All I would suggest is email or write to your MPs.
Unfortunately I would suggest that for the most part it will fall on deaf ears , that or they will make a blind promise to ensure votes.
We can not count on these people to put the message forward in the way it needs to.
The only way to make this happen is to change the attitude around this sport, it is after all a sport.
Can we not come up with something more constructive than an email to an MP who is more interested in there government position than worry about MARS action rifle shooters??
Lets face it, They didn't help during the hand gun ban nor the hunting ban etc etc.

Mobilisation is the only way. 100,000 shooters in London with placcards. Shut the place down for a day.
If anyone knows how to organise this then I'll be there

It did help here maybe people should be emailing DUP politicians. They are gun friendly and have a lot of influence with the government.
Theresa May has done a deal with the DUP which means she stays as UK prime minister.

I remember doing it for the hunting ban, look how that worked out.
DUP is a nice idea but I don't believe they have as much clout over here as you would like to think.
I'm sure they will protect themselves, not some group of shooters in mainland England.
The sooner we stop relying on other people with there own agendas the better, MPs won't put there neck on the line properly at the moment.
.50cal club is going to look for a compromise to keep there sport going, so they will drop the Mars/lever release open for take down.

I keep seeing comments about the FCSA leaving MARS and lever release open to ban, or that they're only looking out for themselves, however I can see their point. they are the Fifty Cal Shooters Association. Their bread and butter is 50 cals, what they know is 50 cals. Whilst we all believe that we should all support all disciplines, it's not pertinent for them to be speaking on behalf and making the case for a type of rifle they may not be conversant in, or know the benefits, limitations and counter points to what the Home Office present them, whereas for rifles over 10,000ft/lb It's their wheelhouse.
They can demonstrate and have an in depth knowledge of the systems, their limitations, uses and can make a well rounded argument.
If there's such a group, maybe the CSR guys, or whoever else uses LR or MARS, could put together a small team of folks to offer their services and work with the FCSA, BASC, or anyone else who is fighting this consultation/legislation I'm sure the FCSA would work with them to make sure that nothing gets thrown under the bus, but al they've stated is that they're not equipped to fight for firearms that they don't use.
