i don't think that .22 semis have ever been a problem to the Gov'ment, otherwise they would have banned them along with the CF semis
The lever release and the MARS systems however, are a way of sidestepping the original intention, so this could be them filling in the loophole..
Damn shame if they do, I was looking forward to getting a .45 lever release when i could afford it..
If they are filling in the loopholes, the LBP's and LBR's are also in the firing line...

I doubt this has anything to do with Las Vegas.
It was probably planned ages ago and timed to coincide with the Tory Party conference.

Actually no. The Russian revolution, was the catalyst for firearm registration in the UK.
The last thing the elite wanted was a lot of battle-hardened soldiers, fresh from the horrors of The Great War, coming home to a land not fit for heroes and having access to firearms. Especially with The 1911 Sidney Street siege still firmly in memory.

So thats where we are basically being hearded now. The elite does not want the sheep to be able to fight back, at least not with the same power weapons the elite police have
They are trying this in the states and have been for many a year but theres too many guns out there belonging to sane people who will not roll over and take it up the arse.
Look at this in perspective. A nutter kills a lot of people with guns in the states and the day after A DIFFERENT COUNTRY (UK) starts rattling on about gun laws and banning etc etc. Why is this?
People are being murdered wholesale in african and eatern countries (we are lead to believe) for decades and not a titter in the news about banning guns or restricting them because they are being killed.
How many legal firearms owners is there in this country? over a million?, a few million including air gun owners I'd say.
Its time we all made it to London and protested about this never ending erosion of our sport and our rights.
How many people get killed per year in this country from legally sold and taxed tobacco, alcohol, sugar and presciption drug abuse? How many die per year from legally held firearms?
I rest my case ............for now!

I doubt if there's as much as a million if you combined both FAC and SGC holders together.
At a realistic guess maybe around 200,000 FAC holders and around 600,000 SGC holders

Here's an interesting pictorial summary of our times.
Ignore the fact that this is The Sun - tragedy has just struck and the cretins are already taking 'selfies'.
