Doubt it. Likewise I strongly doubt he would accept any of the criticism of his product. Even when FSS turned one of the very first ones semi auto with a piece of blu-tac it wasn't his fault as the design wasn't finished.... Also wasn't his fault that he'd sold a number of these rifles to individuals before having the opion f the HO as to their classification. Hence the S5 debacle.

Pretty mixed day today ..........

First the good news, only 1 jam on the first round of the first mag, after that the other 49 rounds went without a problem (ish)

Using 115gr Berrys Preferred Plated with 4.0gr of Titegroup I easily got 1.5" at 25m with 10 rounds without trying (that's my excuse) smile2


However ..... switching to 124gr lead round nose with the same powder and crimp gave this,


13 out of 15 on target and 2 missing

Well, looks like you found the load with the plated bullets! Quite impressive.

Did you get the Berrys Plated Bullets from a UK supplier?
Could you let me know the supplier and price.
I am coming to the end of my current 1000 FMJ and wouldnt mind trying an alternative.

The Berry's sound similar to the Rainier bullets (from MidwayUK) I use for my 357 and 9mm Largo.

Mike, unfortunately not, got them from Sinclairs while I was in the US, £60x1000, I would have brought more but we were maxed out on luggage allowance (brought 114Kg back!).

Midway UKs prices are horrendous!!!, there's a supplier in Holland "Bold Action" who does some of the the UK shows, his prices are pretty good but I can't drive far enough to get to one.
