Gentlemen,

I would like to take issue with the last two comments, however clearly can not as I believe them to be correct.
I have serious regrets in purchasing this gun not least that I have sold a perfectly good 10/22 and Marlin .357 to help fund it. I now have an expensive gun which I feel has next to no value, re sale or as a competition gun.
I will not make any physical alterations to my 9mm as if when I get it back it is still not working I will be sending it back and asking for a refund,

I wish I had been able to read these remarks before parting with my cash,

Concur completely, I cannot believe that a company(?) that sells such stuff is still in business. :G

We can all make mistakes and have lemons the trick is to put them right and ensure they never happen again.

Making money from stuff that is not fit for purpose is bordering on theft.

Polished the lip around the chamber, gave the bolt a good clean and instead of grease used a little oil, fed 6 magazines with 6 rounds each and not one jam, the was with two new mags un modded and the one modded one, hopefully all ok now

Same here we have one of the very early ones, uzi mag type. Sad to hear many are having problems, I would be interested in what was Bob's reply about the issues.

I have decided to Post this here as this is where we have been talking about it, but I did consider posting a separate topic as it more or less a "I was wrong" and I think I need to say it.

I sent my 9mm back a couple of weeks back, through work etc, I did not contact SGC until yesterday asking for a progress report.

Bob stated that when the new fore end was put on the barrel had been incorrectly aligned and that was the source of the feeding problems.
This is a little bewildering because as far as Ovenpaa and I are concerned, the barrel did not move. However a I had not tested the gun prior to this I have to accept that it was my fault that the rifle was miss feeding.

On the subject of the floppy lever release, he felt that someone had been messing with it and had forced it. I certainly had not, but I know this rifle had been handled whilst in the showroom and who knows what had been done to it. As Bob only charged a few pence for the spring, I really was not going to argue.

So having spoken to Bob yesterday afternoon, TNT delivered the rifle to the NRA today and I was able to pick it up this afternoon. I took it to the zero range and put 30 is rounds through it.
First shot and having re positioned the scope with the aid of the Picatiney rails, I was pleased to see the hole appeared right in the middle where I aimed.
On closing the bolt I had a miss feed and you can imagine my thoughts. On examining the bullet it was again shorter than the manufactured OAL so it is set to the side for pulling.

I then went on to shoot three groups. The first was at the black circle. Quite a spread, so I will need to play with other brands. Then another 10 shot group higher up,more of the same.

Satisfied that the first jam was possibly down to lubrication or similar, I decided to let 10 off as quickly as I dare, again aiming at the black circle. Considering the speed, all were more or less on the mark.

I am now happy to take this gun forward and am looking forward to finding a load that works in it. Bob recommends 115 gn so I will source some and give them a go. The stuff I had today was 125 gn.

Finally, of note, I will mention that I would not consider shooting this gun without safety glasses. I have not worked out where it comes from yet, but there is a definite blast of air to the face after each shot. Perhaps this is common with all AR's?

Usng plated reloads mine will easily do a 1" group at 20m.

Did you point Bob in the direction of the threads on here?, it would be interexting to see what he has to say about the various problems we've all encountered with a gun costing as much as this one does.

Not felt any air/gas blasts when I've shot mine, I may get out with it tonight or if not I'll take it to Ponteland range on Sunday and blast a few mag fulls through it at 100m smile2
