Oh yes, loads of plants are poisonous.
The entrance to our local church which is basically our neighbour, has laburnum and yew at the entrance and along one path.
So far only natural deaths as far as I am aware :)

Lovely flower Rob, we used to grow them but as they flowered either the wind or the rain smashed them, they were replaced with a Fern, at least it stays put in the gales and showers.

Our peonies are actually flowering for the first time in 5 years - last year they had buds but no flowers this year SUCCESS.
Next year I'll post pictures of the lavender bed I am planting - have had to dig a 400mm deep trench 400 wide and 4m long this afternoon - and now need to get some decent sandy soil to fill it with!

Some more from our garden.
These always remind me of my dad. They are a bit early this year but a few years back they were just starting to bloom round about the time he was in hospital. He never came out and they were in full bloom the day of his funeral. Makes me smile when they come up as they are beautiful.

Yes, it was on from a Daily Mail offer I think. Quite small but we like the colour.

Yes, an Arum Lily.

Yes, Bnz's mum liked lavender so it is there as a reminder.
