they know where you live, know what guns you have. at the very least you would be arrested, certificates revoked, they'd enter your property, remove all your guns, ammo and primers. probably take a whole lot more as evidence. and prosecute you for illegal possession of a firearm.

So you get by shooting in the woods etc, until you run out of primers for loading because you can't buy more as you need an FAC to buy them.

1. We're facing a run against all firearm ownership against all of us here in the USA
2. The idiot politicians here, really not very bright, are looking toward the UK, NZ, and Australia for a blueprint on how its been done there, to use against all of us here.
If I understand what happened there first, was, registration, lead to where you all are at today, correct?
Once enough people registered their firearms in the UK, I suppose with promises never to seek confiscation, then they had all of you by the short hairs, comply, or since we know who has what, we'll come get you.

don't kid yourself saying I will not comply will work. the police would just rock up at 3am in force. Once you are in cuffs or on the floor bleeding they can do what they like.

'but if we all say no, they can't put us all in jail'... no, but they can start taking you down one at a time, town by town across the country until peoples minds start to change.

If you want to know what our state thinks about non compliance then you only have to take a look at the relevant section in the Impact Assessment from the last "consultation exercise"...

No more shooting ever and a very long stretch attached to illegal possession of what has now been made a prohibited firearm from under your feet.

NZ population 4.2 million

No one really knows how many firearms are out and about here in the USA.

We've had 12,000,000 instant back ground checks this year alone.
This number does not include private firearm sales, we do not keep track of that in any form, cash and carry, no paperwork
This does not include people like myself, with an AZ CC permit, we do not go through the instant check, can buy anything we want simply by showing the CC permit, which allows me to carry concealed across state lines in about 40 states outside AZ

Best guess, and its a guess, we have 450,000,000 privately held firearms in the USA.

We have 50 separate states, with 50 sets of laws. (No one can navigate all those separate state constitutions.)
DC can't impose their will against us, that pesky 2nd amendment, the SC has upheld several times as an individual right

Vs your Parliament system

Millions upon millions of us swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and Bill of Rights, not some pesky politician in DC

One thing I know, for a fact, when an American says they are willing to stand and fight for their rights, well, believe them is all I can say.

Early this year, an EO/ATF notice went out, saying so called "bump stocks" were now illegal.
Companies that made the things, said they had sold 700,000 here.
Information from the ATF, states, only about 5% were turned in, destroyed by their orders.
And, most of that 5%, were from dealers with stock still on their shelves, not yet sold.

Most of us here, are not overly concerned with anyone showing up to our homes to confiscate our firearms.
Country is huge, population is huge, no federal registration exists, and people here are not inclined to submit.

Our military will not involve themselves in this matter.
We have some liberal Generals that would be happy too do so, but they know, it would tear their commands apart
Our police force, are for the most part local, and they have no stomach to even try and collect firearms from their neighbors and friends.
Chicago has the most stringent gun laws in the country, and they can't keep guns away from even the illegal/criminal people there, much less the legal citizens.

Anyway,,,,,,somethings are worth being made an outlaw over, upholding the Constitution and Bill of Rights are high on that list.

I was hoping to hand back the ancillary equipment without having a LR rifle myself.
Had intended to get one, bought a 50 round drum in the US, sold it for a pittance when the ban was announced.

Going to have to hand in spring assisted knives and a few other bits though.
