Well credit where credits due after a rather p!$$y email they rang me on the afternoon and let me go to the FLD unit and swap certs for a 'corrected' one so at least I've managed to get that sent away to get the first new rifle up to me

They had however for no reason dropped my .223 holding from 600 (as its been for the last 15 years) to 400, but at least they actually managed to get the holding/allowance on there this time so I wasn't 'illegally' holding ammo any more Needless to say i'll be addressing that once my guns come in

Still nothing on my grant.

Spoke to a gent at my club the other day and his renewal took 11 months, and even after his FEO renewal chat (telephone) it took 6 weeks to get the new cert.

Only 11 months - wow. Speed of lightning eh!

It'd be the additional 6 weeks after FEO sign off that'd annoy me most. What can even happen at that stage that takes 6 weeks?

I just checked. I sent my renewal in at the beginning of December so it looks like a long wait still to come!!!
