Tonight while watching someone shooting at falling plate targets at 20m with a .22 ..
Just after a shot was fired and the plate struck I felt something hit me inside my nose of all places .. I got a nosebleed which soon stopped ..
This fragment however could have hit me in the eye had I not been wearing eye protection .. A sobering thought !!

I am glad you posted that, I hope you are ok, a reminder to us all to wear eye and ear protection!

Glad your ok! Same happened to me shooting air rifle at a HFT shoot. I was just standing there not shooting and was hit just under the eye. Not good!

Eye protection is so important yet often overlooked at the firing point.
