Badger Korporashun refused an official comment on allegations that this was a pre-emptive strike carried out to prevent the training of marksmen for enforcing "the cull". When questioned, a spokesbadger wiped his paws with an oily rag, kicked a jerry can aside, shrugged his shoulders and said "Nuffink doin' 'ere ooman."

Hopefully I can shed some light on this. Portishead is , my home range is located there, and home is only 5 miles away.

The quarry the range is built in has endangered species of birds inside of it. This resulted in the range being behind schedule in building and forced it to be a huge structure, it was originally going to be a large open area to allow for scenario training. The need for the extremely large building forced Avon and Somerset to increase the budget. This now leave Avon and Somerset with no real firearms training facilities bar one small range. (there maybe others in the constabulary but none that I know of).

The group, describing itself as Angry Foxes Cell, said members targeted the construction site on the evening of 26 August and "left it with flames licking high
At least it was foxes and not badgers :good: .

Armed wing of the "Badger Corporation" ?
In claimed the "night of action", which coincided with the start of the badger cull, also involved members attacking two vehicles near St George, Bristol.

"We hope this will be one of many rebellions against this slaughter," the statement added.

I somewhat doubt that they do. Portishead is firmly within North Somerset (Somerset ceremonial county) boundaries. These feckers, if they did it, will most likely come from Bristol proper, a county in it's own right

Although much said in jest, some "poker up their ass" t*@t will take it seriously, there is always one - at least! maybe badgers should have wee trackers in them so they can be rescued if need be :squirrel:
