What do people think of these?

Will be used for f/tr

Looking at 2 rifles, one has a quad lock and the other is a quad light.

Thanks

I have two Quadlocks as target rifles. No complaints. Perhaps a bit heavy on boltlift when used for 'bench rest' as it disturbs the line up. No problems when I'm target shooting.

I think the lighter Quadlite may be easier to open. Try them??

I'm sure others will chip in soon!!

Quadlock is a more robust action. Also it's octagonal rather than round, which avoids or eases a number of bedding issues. Having said that, if you are going FTR and are pushed for weight, the NRA has about 6 QLites which are much lighter and have done duty as club / probationary rifles for several years (a hard life) with no problems with the actions themselves.

I have an RPA Interceptor multi shot with a Quadlite action. I've owned more than few rifles in my time, but this is the only keeper I own...
