A big thanks to herts firearms team.
Sent in a request for 8 slots adding on to my ticket and some condition changes.
Sent on Tuesday.
Licence back on my mat this morning.
So far I have never had a complaint about them.
What sort of times are you guys having to deal with.

Nice and quick how it should be
I had a 1 for 1 variation done while I wait (Wiltshire)
I was amazed at how quick I got my shotgun licence, 2 weeks from application to getting it!
Though I did already have a FAC.
Saying that I've been waiting from Hants police to clear some land for 6 months now.

Paxtond, We are under Beds and Herts and after a minor hickup during the changeover to the new offices everything was back on track and the usual superb service was restored. I usually dealt direct with Eddie however they are all very good, who is the FEO for your area?

For a variation? Four months and counting.
Three months wait just to tell me they had an issue with it and could I resubmit...
Mind you... "that Sig P226 looks nice".

Trevor is our feo, and marry takes care of the paper work.
I don't think there has been a unhelpful person called Mary in the history of civilisation
I also happen to be close friends with the office managers step daughter and that ways helps

Not the quickest ever... Thames Valley used to turn variations round for me on a while-you-wait basis pretty regularly. They were fantastic! (and half the time I didn't even have to wait - I'd email or phone and say what I wanted, and then head up to Kidlington - new ticket at the desk, old one taken off me, all good)
I think it's changed since those days mind.

I've received similar service for 1-1 or ammo increases but never for a request of new cal.
