This was a sudden purchase, I've not thought about glass just yet

Top man! Impulse purchases are always fun
You need a rail, rings, bipod and 'scope and with a bit of luck someone on the forum will have something to get you started, I have a spare Harris bipod you are welcome to borrow until you are sorted.

Thanks for the offer, though I have already sourced a Harris bipod.
I'm a babe in the woods when it comes to glass though. I know the big names, but that's about it.

It's like crossing the finish line in a really long race when you get your first firearm. Congratulations!

Have a look at a Vortex Viper (from Riflecraft). I recently bought a 6.5-20 x 50.
But then, I'm of the opinion that you don't need to spend a kings ransom on glass if you're just punching paper.........

Interested on thoughts of the Remmy as I have one waiting for an AI stock and also the Vortex scope as this was my choice as it seemed good money for a lot of scope.
